Lawyers Without Borders is a global organization that strives to improve the rule of law around the world.

Based on the belief that strengthening the rule of law results in increased justice, stability, and economic prosperity, we partner with lawyers and judges to strengthen the legal community, build strong institutions, and make justice accessible – all while adhering to a strict mandate of neutrality. Lawyers Without Borders is headquartered in the USA and is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

What is the Rule of Law, Anyways?

The rule of law means that laws apply equally to everyone, and that those laws are clear, fair, and enforced by an independent judiciary system. It ensures that no one is above the law, and that justice is accessible to all.
